Challenges
The network design must achieve a perfect mobile phone coverage. The area is a 1,000 hectare site that includes runways, terminals, airport buildings and hangars – and can accommodate 14 million passengers a year. The network connection must be reliable to run the airport’s applications such as machine sensors and cloud-based services. It was also emphasized that the network must be scalable and fail-safe in case of downtime.
