Following the recent GLOMO award-winning success, distribution of the Sprint Magic Box designed and manufactured by Airspan has risen sharply. On average more than 30,000 units are being distributed per month to both consumers and business customers to more than 200 cities across the US.
Sprint’s plans to continue deployment as part of their 1,000,000 multi-year network densification roadmap.
The results of this massive network densification have contributed to Sprint’s rise in the national average download speed year-on-year of 36%, the largest increase of the four big carriers in the US.
Today Sprint is #1 for fastest average download speed in 100 cities according to Ookla Speedtest Intelligence data, including cities Austin, Denver, Pittsburgh, Salt Lake City and Seattle as well as the market of Indianapolis.
