Acquisition Scope
Refer to https://airspan.com/cambiumfwbacquisition for the latest list of included products. The list is subject to change, and we will keep this page updated.
We are in discussions with the OEM supplier of the PTP 820/850 for Cambium. Our objective is to reach an agreement that enables us to sell and support PTP 820/850 and to manage these units using cnMaestro. We will notify you of the outcome of these discussions as soon as we come to a resolution. We appreciate your support during the transition.
If you have a support question on PTP 820/850, please continue to use existing support channels, and we will provide best-effort support until this is resolved.
Ordering, Pricing, and Shipments
Use the same contact (reseller or distributor) that you were using with Cambium Networks. If you need a contact, please reach out to info@airspan.com
The highest priority for all involved in Airspan’s acquisition of these product lines is to activate the distribution centers and factories, get products flowing again, and deliver the backlog as soon as possible. We expect shipments from the distribution centers to begin as early as September 30. Check with your distributor for the latest information.
No. You can use existing part numbers and part number suffixes to continue ordering the acquired products. There is no list price change as part of this acquisition.
Warranty and Support Contracts
Yes, Airspan has assumed all warranty and support commitments for the acquired Cambium products.

Technical Support
Please continue to use the same support process you use today at Cambium Networks. Airspan has retained members of Cambium’s support team with expertise in the products it has acquired, and they will provide support. By the end of October, Airspan will transition to a new support system. More information will be available by mid-October.

Network Operation, Firmware, and Spectrum Services
All the products in the announced Airspan acquisition will continue to work as normal. Nothing needs to change at this time (no new firmware requirements, license keys, etc.). Your network will keep working. More information is coming soon on the roadmap for all of the products acquired by Airspan.
If you are running a 3 GHz PMP 450 platform that uses the CBRS service for spectrum access, nothing about your service changes with this announcement. CBRS billing will continue as normal with the October billing cycle, and no disruption of service is expected. We will notify you if anything changes or if any specific action needs to be taken.
Yes, there is no change in AFC support for PMP 450v. Contact Cambium Networks for information about ePMP.
cnMaestro and Planning Tools
All of the products included in the Airspan acquisition will continue to be supported in both cnMaestro cloud and on-premises. This includes both cnMaestro X and Essentials. There is no plan to discontinue cnMaestro.
We understand this is an important issue. As of today, we can only commit to supporting the products that have been acquired by Airspan. Please reach out to Cambium Networks for options on the ePMP and Enterprise products in your network. We will communicate if this changes in the future.
Yes, these tools are critical to our network operators, system integrators, and distributors and will be carried forward. More information is coming soon about renewals and new orders for cnHeat and the roadmap for both cnHeat and LINKPlanner.
The date for removal of the desktop version from the website is still October 9. Migration to the cloud version of LINKPlanner is proceeding on schedule. The profile service will shut down as early as October 31, 2026. We are investigating ways to extend that ot the original November 27 date. We encourage you to move to the cloud version as soon as reasonable. Please refer to the Cambium community forum for more information on this migration until that information moves to the Airspan support site.
While we can only commit to supporting the products acquired by Airspan, we are investigating ongoing and future support for other Cambium products. In the meantime, and through at least October 31, these products will stay in place as-is. More information to come.
Branding and Community
For now, products will continue to be shipped with Cambium Networks branding. This will change over the coming months as a running change.
Airspan is evaluating the possibility of creating a community forum similar to the Cambium forum. More information to come.
